4 Reasons to Attend eHealth 2018

The annual eHealth conference is approaching quickly and will be taking place in the beautiful Vancouver, Canada. With over 1500 attendees and a full schedule of over 250 presenters, this conference is the place to be for those with a passion for improving health technology. Healthcare leaders and enthusiasts will be attending from across the country for the unique opportunity to make lasting connections and learn more about innovative solutions. Aetonix has been invited to exhibit and present by our partners, Samsung and are looking forward to attending. In anticipation of the three-day event, we have made a list of reasons we think you should attend the conference. We hope to see you there!

A place to interact with industry leaders

Of course, one of the main reasons people attend tradeshows is to meet others in their industry and establish a presence for their company. With eHealth 2018 being Canada’s only national eHealth conference, you are sure to meet some unique and renowned healthcare professionals that you otherwise may not have cross paths with. The eHealth conference and tradeshow attracts many industry leaders as it provides them with the platform to showcase their innovations and present their ideas. The tradeshow is open from 10:00AM to 4:00PM on the 28th and 9:30AM to 3:30PM on the 29th so there is plenty of time to stop by booths and introduce yourself. eHealth 2018 offers many other chances to interact with fellow attendees like the receptions, networking breaks, and an awards gala.

Extend your brand

eHealth makes it extremely easy to connect with others attending the event online as they will all be posting with the #eHealth2018 hashtag. Not only do attendees benefit from using social media during the event, presenters and exhibitors are given an opportunity for more exposure. If your audience finds your presentation compelling, they may share photos or video from it on their own social media. Not only is this a great way to find your audience and connect with them, but it also puts your brand on a larger platform. Attending or exhibiting at a large, well-known conference like eHealth also gives your brand added exposure and credibility.

Learn something new

From when eHealth kicks off on May 28th to when it wraps up on the 30th, there is no shortage of interesting presentations. With topics ranging from “Patient Connectivity Goes Mainstream” to “Labs, Drugs & Rock & Roll”, you are guaranteed to learn something new. On the opening night, attendees have the chance to watch Hacking Health participants present their coolest ideas – a great chance to learn from innovators as they create, design, and test their prototypes before they are evaluated.

Hacking Health Hackathon

Hacking Health provides participants with the chance to work together over the course of a day and a half to come up with innovative software solutions relating to chronic disease management. The Hackathon encourages collaboration and teamwork and is a great opportunity for innovators to learn from each other. Many different kinds of healthcare professionals attend the eHealth conference. Ranging from administrators, clinicians, and doctors, to patients and loved ones – it is a great chance to get new perspectives from people in different areas of the industry.

If any of these reasons interest you, eHealth 2018 might be the conference you’re looking for. The conference has a steadily increasing number of attendees each year, making it the perfect place to meet lots of others in the industry. With the many different networking events the conference offers along with the busy schedule of speakers, you are guaranteed to learn a lot from those in the industry. It’s not too late to make plans to attend – you can register here.
