Aetonix Accepted into unique Canadian Technology Accelerator program in Boston (CTA Boston) Massachusetts

August 14, 2018 | Ottawa, ON: Aetonix Systems is excited to announce that we have been accepted into an exclusive accelerator program for innovative Canadian businesses expanding into international markets.
The Canadian Technology Accelerator in Boston, (CTA Boston) Massachusetts, connects a select number of emerging Canadian companies to US clients, strategic partners, investors, and global Canadian executives, to accelerate and drive the growth of their businesses.

As one of only seven organizations accepted in the Fall 2018 cohort, Aetonix will be participating in the unique business acceleration residency program that includes workspace at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) in Kendall Square in Cambridge. It is the only Accelerator of its kind offering a unique team mentoring approach from the Canadian Mentoring Service, a partnership between the Consulate General of Canada in Boston and the Canadian Entrepreneurs in New England (CENE), and which comprises over 100 accomplished mentors.

Participating companies come from across Canada in a variety of industries, including: information and communication technologies; healthcare – including biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics, scientific research tools and enabling technologies, and digital health; advanced manufacturing; robotics; clean tech; and emerging food technologies. In addition to office space and individualized mentor teams, participating companies also receive introductions to local industry leaders, venture capitalists, and other key resources.

“We are so honoured and proud to have been accepted into this program” said Michel Paquet, Founder & CEO of Aetonix Systems. “Aetonix has been seeing a lot of interest in our platform aTouchAway – especially from large American care organizations, hospitals and insurers. By having a physical presence and the networking opportunities that CTA Boston provides, we will be better positioned to really step-up our presence in this important market. Providers in the US healthcare system have recognized the significant efficiencies in adopting digital health technologies and are moving very quickly to improve the patient experience for patients with multiple-chronic conditions or complex care needs”.

To date, companies in the CTA Boston program have raised $58+ million in capital, increased revenues by $29+ million, developed 230+ strategic partnerships and created 200+ jobs.
